I am an Economist in the Distributional Impact of Policies team for the East and Southern Africa region at the the World Bank, with prior experience in the Social Protection and Labor Global Practice. My work and research focuses on inequality and poverty dynamics, financing for development, and digital work in developing countries.
Before joining the World Bank, I was a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University's Economic Growth Center. I hold a Ph.D. from the Economics Department at Tulane University and a B.Sc./M.A. in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.
